3M Dirt Trap System for Spray Booths

Tired of scrubbing booth walls, floors and light lenses?  How about repainting the booth inside?  That's fun.
Eliminate all that and install the 3M Dirt Trap System.   A special adhesive-backed material was developed to apply to booth walls and floors, reflect well and capture dirt and overspray.  A clear covering was designed for booth light glass.  Together they seal off your booth environment to keep your paint work as dirt free as possible.  The starter kit comes with a roll of each material and dispensers.  Your 3M rep is willing to come by your shop and help out.  You get the booth ready and they will come by and help you get started with hands-on training.  Check out this video from 3M, as well as this brochure.

3M Quick-Disconnect Buffing System

3M introduces their Quick-Disconnect Buffing System.  An adapter screws onto a standard 5/8"-11 thread buffer, which then allows the wool or foam double-sided pad (that's right - the first double-sided FOAM pad) to quickly snap in place and start buffing or polishing!  The foam pads can be cleaned with a special bristle brush pad cleaning tool and the wool pads have a built-in red line wear indicator: if you buff until you can see the red line, it's time to change the pad.  Each pad is always perfectly centered, so you get no off-center "wobble" as can occur with a Hookit pad, and no chance of "fly-off".  Everything is included in a special introductory kit, which saves you a little more than 30% over buying the items individually.

Feather Fill 4:1

Everyone's heard of Feather Fill, right?  Not this Feather Fill.  If you have been frustrated with polyester primers before, it's probably because it's hard to measure with those little tubes and oh by the way, it set up in your gun!  What if it was easier to measure and had a longer pot life?  Feather Fill 4:1 is just that.  Although not a bare metal pimer (pre-prime with one coat acid etch or epoxy), Feather Fill easily competes with the heaviest build urethane primers and is ready to sand in 60-90 minutes.  Want to know more?  Read up on this tech sheet.

Steck Stud Lever Puller

Steck has introduced yet another innovative tool to save you time.  Draw pins are great and easy to attach, but when you yank on them with the puller, it can sometimes be pretty easy to over-pull.  Then you have to take the time to fix that also.  What if you could have a little more control over the situation?  That's why they introduced the Stud Lever Puller.  It moves from pin to pin quickly and allows a gentler yet strong enough pull to just the point you want it to be.  Reasonably priced under $50.00, it can save you 15 min. per job!
