Tadd joined the Ben's team in March 2010.  He has managed to work in most aspects of the collision industry both on the customer side and the sales side.  A resume´ of his experience includes owning a detail shop, automotive painter, industrial fabricator, business accountant, PPG computer tech, insurance writer for collision shops and Microsoft certified technician.  He's even been with Ben's before in two capacities - warehouse and counter sales.   Tadd is proud to take on the task of store manager at the Gainesville store and is looking forward to servicing the customers and shops alike.

Tadd was born in Gainesville, Fl. in 1970 and is thereby a native Gator fan.  He attended college at Santa Fe C.C. and later became certified in a variety of IT fields.  He has a family of 6 and currently lives in the lakeside community of Keystone Heights, FL.  He enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, being both a husband and father, well prepared food, and in case you missed it, Gator football.  Go Gators!

Wayne serves as the outside salesman for the immediate Gainesville area and Ocala.  He has been in the paint business for over 40 years and has seen a lot of changes in that time, from the simplicity of lacquer and enamel days to the complexity of today's multitude of paint offerings.  He originally started as a paint mixer in an auto parts store, but in 1972 he was pulled away to a PBE jobber store called Hill Supply Co.  He began running a full time sales route in a box truck, then later on in a step van.  That company and the whole concept of specialty paint stores grew rapidly in those years, even though during that time he experienced the deaths of two company owners.  Along with Randy Keene, he joined the Ben's team in 1995 when Hill Supply was sold, and remains a "go to" guy for experience and information.  He's a survivor, having wrestled with cancer and chemotherapy, and he remained on the clock the whole time!  While at Ben's he received the 2002 award for Sales Excellence and in 2006, the award for Dedication.  Wayne and his wife Lana have two children and 2.5 grandkids.  He enjoys working on engines, fishing and flying - both the real ones and his collection of radio controlled model planes.

Randy joined the Ben's team in 1995 at the same time as Wayne Anderson, both having come from Hill Supply Company.  They left there as a team and remain so to this day.  At the former company, Randy began his career in the paint business as a delivery driver and then moved to inside sales.  As the company grew, he moved to outside sales running a route on a delivery van.   He remains in outside sales at Ben's and covers a lot of territory in North Central Florida - about a 70 mile radius around Gainesville, except for Ocala.  Customer loyalty seems to surround him as he has several that have been with him for over 20 years!  Randy and his wife Carolyn have one daughter, Jessica.  He enjoys spending time with them and does a lot of work with various youth organizations at his church.

You gotta love that name.  In addition to the unusual name, Carousel comes to us from an unusually low percentile group - the female painter, having worked in various collision centers for many years.  She joined us in 2008 as an inside sales associate and is as friendly as her telephone voice makes you feel.  Born and raised in Ocala, Florida, she has been married since 1989, has one son and 4 dogs.  If all that doesn't keep her busy enough, she is a Certified Scuba Diver and loves being outdoors in the USA!

Allen began his career with us as a distribution specialist and also managed the Gainesville warehouse. He moved up to the counter as an inside sales associate in 2007. He has lived in Florida since 1974. A "retired" machinist, Allen has one daughter, Chelsea, and a grandson Charlie. He has a great time riding his motorcycle and enjoys weekend scenic bike rides. Of course, it is Gainesville after all and he has a message for you: "Go Gators!"

Ken was born in New York City and raised on Long Island. He moved around Florida for awhile, at one point driving a taxi cab in the Orlando area before settling in Gainesville in 2001. He was robbed as a cab driver 3 times and so he finally concluded that was not the job for him. He became self-employed working on computers but was interrupted by a severe accident - being hit by a bus as a pedestrian. He was told that he would not walk again, but after years of surgery and therapy, he decided to return to the workplace. In 2007, he was hired on at Ben's as a distribution specialist. Ken was promoted to inside sales associate in 2008. He still continues his avocation with computers.

Bob is a Gainesville native - born and raised there.  His nickname is "Springer" so don't be surprised if doesn't answer to "Bob" right away.  He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and is retired from the Metal Container Corporation (owned by Anheuser/Busch) after 22 years there.  He was hired in 2008 as a distribution specialist and right away fit in well with the customers.  He enjoys the work and serving people.  Bob is the father of 3 children and grandparent to 6.  In his spare time he enjoys riding his motorcycle.  No, there is no relation to Mr. Claus, and the beard is real.

Formerly a chemical lab tech, Bill joined us in Dec. 2008 as a distribution specialist.  Maybe he needed a new set of chemicals, but more likely he just wanted to get outdoors into the fresh air and the delivery job provides a lot of that.  Along that theme, Bill's favorite activity is playing golf.

Norman has been a distribution specialist with Ben's since 2007. He describes his job here as a "dream job" since he loves being around customers, cars and especially Custom work. Not coincidentally, his hobbies inlcude drawing, building and driving hot rods, and mini-trucks. Norman daily maintains a cheery attitude and feels that his time at Ben's is like being with family.

Jimmy is originally from Charlotte, NC.  His family moved to Florida and from 1979-1983 he attended high school at the Florida Air Academy.  He came on board in 2008 as distribution specialist.  Jimmy is married with 3 children and coaches fast pitch softball in his time away from work.  He has done that since 1996 and has other sports in his background as well.  He has played football, soccer and participated in track & field competition.

Although Rachelle is a part-time team member, her sharpness and energy would put any of us full-timers to the test.  She came aboard in 2007 as a general assistant and as multi-skilled as she is, she is able to pinch-hit almost any position.  Amongst her repetoire of abilities, you will find: deliveries, paint mixing, variant deck updating, checking in shipments, inventory control assistance, computer data entry, and the list goes on.  She is willing and able to accomplish almost any task you ask of her and make it look easy.  At home she enjoys being with family and her 4 dogs.
