Welcome to the training area for Custom paint application systems. We are glad to help, but if you are new to custom painting, we strongly recommend that you investigate standard paint practices before tackling the more technical procedures involved with custom paint. If this is your situation, please see the training page for Automotive/Collision. Below are a number of tips, tech bulletins, videos and training events to help you learn how to achieve certain special effects involved with custom paint. Although single stage finishes can work, basecoat-clearcoat is the most user friendly and the clear will protect all that hard work from damage and UV. There are so many tricks of the trade out there that we may not know them all. But if we don't, we'll do our best to find out. Click here to find your nearest Ben's store and we'll be glad to help!
